WEBSITES · AI TOOLS · INTEGRATIONS

Everyone can build something now with AI.
Not everyone can ship it.

Starting has never been easier. We build it right, and make sure it holds.

What we do

Four kinds of work.

Same judgment applied throughout.

Web design & development

A site or web app, designed and built from the ground up — using whatever's the right fit, from WordPress to modern frameworks like Astro, up to newer agent-native platforms like EmDash.

What you getA live site on your domain, fast by default, easy for you to update.

AI agent & tool development

Purpose-built AI agents and internal tools that do one job well, wired into how your team actually works.

What you getA working agent or tool running in production, with the access it needs and no more.

AI connectors & integrations

Connecting AI to the systems you already run — CRM, docs, internal APIs — so it works with real data, not guesses.

What you getA live connector between your AI tools and your existing systems.

Rescue & recovery

AI makes it easy to get most of the way there — a proof of concept, a vibe-coded first pass. Getting the rest of the way, where it actually holds up, is where we come in.

What you getA clear read on what's actually broken, and a working version of what you already started.

How we work

A real process, not just a skills list.

  1. 01

    Scope

We talk through what you actually need, then define what "done" looks like before any work starts.

A clear scope and timeline, in writing.

  2. 02

    Build

We design and build the thing itself — site, agent, or integration — with regular check-ins, not a black box.

Working progress you can see as it happens.

  3. 03

    Ship

We deploy it to production and make sure it holds up under real use, not just a demo.

A live site, agent, or integration, running in your environment.

  4. 04

    Refine

We fix what needs fixing and tune what needs tuning after real usage, not just at handoff.

A short post-launch window to adjust based on how it's actually used.

About

About the founder

KQT Labs is led by Jeff Mitchell, a designer and builder with a career spanning marketing, communications, and technology leadership. His background includes years running digital platforms and CRM administration for a large nonprofit organization, moving from communications and design work into full IT leadership — and, more recently, into hands-on AI-assisted development.

That combination shapes how KQT Labs works: design sensibility paired with real technical depth, and a habit of building things efficiently rather than over-engineering them. The goal is straightforward — help clients navigate a genuinely new era in how software gets built, without losing control of what they own or how it works.
